    Zambia Mamba Phase I 2X150MW Thermal Power Plant The first thermal power plant in the Republic of Zambia, the total investment is expected to exceed 600 million US dollars. The project is located in the coal mine in Sinazongwe, Southern Province of Zambia, which is of great significance for alleviating the power shortage in Zambia. According to the contract, POWERCHINA will be responsible for the design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operation of the two 150,000-kilowatt coal-fired units of the power station, which are expected to reach commercial operation within three years.
